Every February thousands gather for IFA’s Annual Convention, and whether you are a seasoned pro or new to Convention, there are always new and exciting things to learn and discover.  Here is a quick list to help you prepare for this year’s premier event.  

1. IFA salutes our Veterans
IFA’s VetFran Operation Enduring Opportunity program is a campaign to hire 80,000 veteran franchise owners and team members, including 5,000 wounded warriors.  Along with over 447 member companies involved in the campaign, come hear how you can play a role during our Panel of the Pros Super Session, Tuesday February 14th.

2. There’s an app for that

3. From near and far
Did you know that this year’s Convention will be represented by 43 different states, including Canada.  Not registered yet? Click here to register; you’ll be glad you did. 

4. Take IFA’s Convention home with you
For those who couldn’t make it this year, or just can’t get enough, don’t forget that audio is available to take home with you after Convention of your favorite sessions or keynote speakers. Check IFA’s Convention central website after Convention for more details.

6. IFA rolls out the red carpet
Over the past 13 years, each IFA Convention has featured some of the most influential people in government, including past Presidents, Mayors, Speakers of the House, First Ladies, and cabinet members. 

7. Franchising Gives Back in a big way
New for 2012! IFA’s community service event will give members a chance to demonstrate the generosity and impact the franchise industry has on local communities.  This event is currently full, but be sure to follow us on twitter at @franchising411 (#IFA2012) for updates and pictures from the event. 

8. Add your two cents

9. The O’Reilly Factor invades Florida
