Tahliq Mills is from New York City and has recently moved back to Amityville, NY after six years of living and working in the DC area. His most recent career position was with Cambria Hotels as the Director of Food & Beverage. He is now a full-time entrepreneur in the profession of Food & Beverage.

Tahliq is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, an international organization focused on Achievement in every field of human endeavors. He has had a passion for working in hospitality since high school. He enrolled in a Vocational Technical School for Culinary Arts, where he learned culinary fundamentals, food history, and much more from professional chef instructors. While being enrolled in his culinary program he landed his second restaurant job as a line cook at Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar. Tahliq would then decide to pursue his love of cooking by way of his post-secondary education at Johnson & Wales University. Tahliq is a graduate of JWU possessing two degrees. A bachelor’s in science in Hotel & Lodging Management, and an Associates of Science in Culinary Arts.

Tahliq has over 10 years of experience in the Hospitality industry. He has lent his expertise to well-known global companies such as Hilton Hotel & Resorts and MGM Resorts Intl. Tahliq enjoys doing philanthropic and volunteerism work in his community, traveling, and socializing. Tahliq long term goal is to own hotels & resorts with an emphasis on boutique-living.
