In her career, Pamela has served in leadership positions in state government, higher education institutions and community-based organizations. While working in these sectors, she has had a long-standing interest in the franchise field and is grateful for the FAI opportunity that will support and guide that deep interest into action.
For over a decade, Pamela worked with the Massachusetts Office of the State Auditor where she managed administrative and financial operations and the Finance, Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources teams. She spent her early career in fundraising positions with several Boston-area universities. Pamela is currently the Deputy Director of People and Culture for the City of Boston, overseeing teams that provide HR support for the City’s numerous departments.
Pamela is an experienced public speaker, presenting at local and national conferences on such topics as AI and the Public Sector and Ethical Considerations in Data Analytics.
An active volunteer in the Greater Boston community, she focuses her time with organizations supporting women, young people and her neighborhood. For the past nine years, she has served as a first-round judge for the John F. Kennedy Library Profile in Courage Essay Contest. For three years, Pamela was a volunteer facilitator leading salary negotiation workshops for women, an initiative sponsored by the City of Boston’s Office of Women’s Advancement and AAUW.
Pamela and her husband live in Boston and have two adult children.
