Goli M. Trainor
As an experienced Human Resources professional, Goli has over 20 years of experience working for organizations in the healthcare, non-profit, start-up, and legal field. Goli earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University. Goli is a long-standing member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
Throughout her career, Goli has helped organizations and leaders navigate through change and define and implement their Human Resources strategies. Her extensive experience includes strategic planning, talent management, employee relations, performance management, HR policy development and implementation, training and development, change management, and legal compliance.
As a high-level Human Resources professional, Goli has assisted organizations, large and small alike, in creating a culture of opportunity and to help them innovate, make an impact, and elevate their most valuable asset—their people.
Goli is particularly enthusiastic about joining the International Franchise Association family because her father worked his way up from being an employee, manager, and eventual owner and franchisee of the Tandy Corporation’s flagship retail chain, RadioShack. She understands the substantial effort, hard work, and dedication it takes to become a successful small business owner under the guidance of an established organization.
In her spare time, Goli loves spending time with her husband and daughter (including ushering their daughter to her various weekend activities), and exploring Northern Virginia’s parks, streams, and trails and taking in the history and cultural scene of Washington, D.C.
