Shredder started with a problem we faced with our own kids: long drives, crowded resort experiences, too little attention, and too much pressure on the mountain. The issue wasn't that skiing and snowboarding were too hard to learn. It was that most kids were being asked to learn in the wrong environment: cold, crowded, expensive, and far too infrequent. We came from youth sports. Local reps, weekly coaching, small groups, a clear path — every other youth sport had this. Snow sports didn't. So we built the missing starting point — a place where kids could learn the fundamentals locally, build confidence steadily, and show up to the mountain ready for the fun part.
