FORT WORTH, Texas (Dec. 7, 2025) – The Rice Owls (5-7, 2-6 American) and Texas State Bobcats (6-6, 3-5 Sun Belt) have officially accepted invitations to play in this year’s Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Rice is playing in the bowl for the second time, while Texas State is making its inaugural trip.

The 23rd edition of the Armed Forces Bowl will be played Friday, Jan. 2, at TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium. Kickoff is noon (CT). Tickets are available at ArmedForcesBowl.com.
