Congressional Forum: Franchising, Public Policy, and the American Franchise Act

The Utah FBN Congressional Forum provides a rare opportunity for Members of Congress to lead and guide an open discussion with franchise business leaders on the policies shaping franchising and small business growth.

This forum will focus on the American Franchise Act, highlighting the importance of clear joint-employer standards that protect franchise opportunity, support local ownership, and enable responsible growth. The program will feature brief mini-keynote remarks from Members of Congress, followed by a facilitated discussion and Q&A.
Attendees will hear directly from policymakers, examine the Act in a practical context, share real-world franchise experiences, and engage in an interactive dialogue. This format is designed to foster meaningful, two-way engagement between Congress and the franchise community.

Presenters: The Honorable Blake Moore, Representative for Utah’s 1st Congressional District
