Promoting awareness, understanding and access to franchise opportunities, the BFLC reaches African American opportunity seekers and supports the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Year-round programs include:

• Presenting at IFA signature events and hosting events with local chambers of commerce and business centers.
• Developing education and training to help franchise companies attract Black franchisees and groom aspiring professionals for management/leadership positions
• Facilitating communication and collaboration among Black executives, franchisors, franchisees, employees and suppliers.
• Nurturing and building relationships with key constituencies, such as reaching out to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to expose their students to franchising as a potential career choice.
