First-time franchisee brings drive-thru Charleys back to Highway 199 with free cheesesteak combos today and value offers through June 26

SPRINGTOWN, TX (June 12, 2026) – Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings reopens its Springtown restaurant at 10 a.m. today at 936 West Highway 199, bringing the brand back to the community after the location had been closed since December.

The reopening marks the first Charleys location for Mohammed Azam, a new franchisee joining the Charleys system. The 1,800-square-foot restaurant is located inside a Shell convenience store and gas station and includes a drive-thru, giving residents, commuters and travelers a convenient option for a quick, made-to-order meal.

The restaurant will employ more than 10 team members and will be managed by Zak Khan and Mandy Wells.

To celebrate the reopening, the first 25 guests today will receive a free small cheesesteak combo. Each combo includes any small cheesesteak, regular-size original fries and a regular-size soft drink.

From today through June 26, guests can also enjoy limited-time grand reopening specials, including:

• $7.99 any Chicken Cheesesteak and Fries
• $6.99 Boneless Wings and Fries
• $1 soft drink add-on
