Lubbock grand opening of a new, expanded space and 10-year anniversary to include live performances, tours, discounts and more
LUBBOCK, TX – (May 2, 2023) – School of Rock, a leader in performance-based music education, announces the grand opening of a brand new, expanded building for a school in Lubbock, TX. The event will take place at 6827 82nd Street, Lubbock, TX 79424, from 3 pm – 5 pm CT on Saturday, May 6. Along with a ceremonial guitar smashing (School of Rock’s version of a ribbon-cutting), the event will offer performances by the school’s house band, studio tours, special discounts on summer camps and student and alumni wall signings.
School of Rock Lubbock is owned by Amber and Greg Beadles, and Dean Tarpley. In 2012, Amber made the decision to open School of Rock Lubbock after a friend in Dallas shared a School of Rock shirt on social media. After visiting the website to purchase the t-shirt, she became intrigued by the music program and knew the South Plains would greatly benefit from School of Rock’s unique approach to music education. Thanks to the knowledgeable instructors and staff, as well as the incredible students, School of Rock Lubbock has been able to thrive for the past ten years.

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin.
