Local entrepreneur Uber Quezada brings a new neighborhood breakfast and lunch spot to the community

HAMPSTEAD, N.C. (Dec. 16, 2025) – Eggs Up Grill, a neighborhood favorite daytime cafe and the fastest-growing “better breakfast” restaurant franchise in the country, will officially open its doors in Hampstead on Monday, Dec. 22. Located at 36 Station Way, Unit A, the restaurant will bring the community its first Eggs Up Grill and the first breakfast-focused franchise in Hampstead, creating a new local gathering place centered on comfort, connection and hospitality.

The restaurant is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Uber Quezada, a longtime automotive sales manager who chose to transition into business ownership in order to build something meaningful for his family and community. After more than a decade of leading teams, mentoring employees and building strong customer relationships, Quezada selected Eggs Up Grill for its culture of hospitality, strong franchise support and family-centered values.

“Opening an Eggs Up Grill is more than a business decision; it is a family decision,” Quezada said. “My goal is to create a place where families in Hampstead feel at home, just like mine does. We are excited to bring great food, warm hospitality and a true community atmosphere to the neighborhood we love.”

Quezada joins Eggs Up Grill at a time of strong momentum, as the brand expands through locally owned restaurants in family-oriented communities. The concept is built around daytime dining, simple operations and a focus on hospitality, creating opportunities for hometown owners to bring a neighborhood breakfast destination to markets like Hampstead.

For local residents, that means a place designed to serve families, support schools and create local jobs, all led by an owner who lives in the community.

“This is another milestone year for Eggs Up Grill, and our momentum is driven by passionate franchise partners like Uber who are eager to serve their communities,” said Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill. “As we grow, the real success comes from partners who want to build a business that supports families, schools and everyday life in the community.”

After opening its doors to guests on Dec. 22, the Hampstead location will host a larger grand opening celebration. The event will include giveaways, branded merchandise, activities for families including a bounce house and face painting, appearances by local community leaders and a chance to enter to win free breakfast for a year. The event date will be announced soon.

Quezada and his family live in Hampstead and plan for the restaurant to become a partner to local schools, youth programs and organizations. He intends to expand the business in the future with additional Eggs Up Grill locations across Pender, Brunswick and Duplin counties.

Eggs Up Grill will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. To learn more about Eggs Up Grill Hampstead, visit locations.eggsupgrill.com/nc/hampstead/115/ or follow @eggsupgrillhampstead on social media.
