Neighborhood Sandwich Shop Arrives in Fox River Valley at Kirkland Crossing Plaza on April 7, with Opening Celebration April 23

AURORA, Ill. – Potbelly, the Chicago-born, iconic neighborhood sandwich shop, announced the opening of a new location in Aurora, further expanding the brand’s presence in its home market. The new shop will open on April 3 and joins three nearby shops – in Aurora, St. Charles and Geneva. It directly borders Batavia, bringing more of the brand’s craveable menu and welcoming neighborhood atmosphere to the Fox Valley region.

Located within Kirkland Crossing Plaza, the shop sits in a convenient retail corridor along Kirk Road, surrounded by popular dining and shopping destinations. The location offers easy access for nearby residents, commuters and families throughout the western suburbs.

Franchise partners Kevin Patel and Anand Patel are the co-owners and operators of the new shop. Both bring deep experience in QSR restaurant ownership, and they have strong local ties. Kevin has more than 20 years of experience in the QSR space, and Anand began his career in the restaurant industry at just 16 years old and now brings more than a decade of hands-on operational experience to the new Aurora Potbelly location.

The Aurora shop will serve the brand’s well-known menu of toasty sandwiches and wraps, signature salads, hand-dipped shakes, and freshly baked cookies, offering guests a fast, fresh dining option for lunch, dinner, and everything in between. The location will also offer third-party delivery starting on its first day of business, making it even easier for nearby residents and office workers to enjoy their favorite Potbelly menu items. Additionally, the shop will offer Potbelly’s catering services, providing convenient, crowd-pleasing options for meetings, events and gatherings of all sizes. Regular operating hours for this shop are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
