Smith’s path to franchise ownership began in Shreveport, where he earned his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University Shreveport before launching a career in the oil and gas industry. After more than six years in the energy sector, Smith chose to pursue entrepreneurship in order to spend more time with his wife and children. He and his wife successfully owned and operated a local business for more than five years before selling it to another local family. Today, they remain active in their church and community and are committed to building a business centered on service and opportunity.
