The owner of three Colorado locations has been recognized for his operational excellence and community spirit

BOULDER, Colo. – Feb. 23, 2026 – Caring Senior Service announced today that Pat Abernathey has been named a 2026 Franchisee Excellence Award recipient by Franchise Business Review, a leading independent franchise research firm. The award honors franchise owners throughout the nation who embody the qualities of business growth, team leadership and service to their local community.

Abernathey was selected from hundreds of local owners, all submitted by franchise brands and vetted for operational excellence and financial performance. His tenure at Caring Senior Service spanned two decades in the corporate office before he ultimately launched a location of his own in Boulder, CO. He has since expanded with two new offices in nearby Lakewood and Fort Collins.
