Back-to-School Giveaway Supports Educators, Students, and Entire Schools Nationwide

TAMPA, Fla. (AUGUST 18, 2025) RNR Tire Express (RNR), the nation’s leading franchise retailer for tires and custom wheels, is kicking off the school year by celebrating two exceptional Florida educators, Tessa Schirm and Melissa Boucher, with the ultimate gift: their complete Amazon classroom wish lists fulfilled.

The surprise is part of RNR’s 5th Annual Teacher Giveaway, which ran from early July through August, receiving over 1,200 nominations, a record-high, from community members across the nation eager to recognize the unsung heroes of education.

A Community-Driven Tradition

Each year, RNR invites locals to nominate teachers who go above and beyond for their students. Winners receive:

  • Full Amazon wish list fulfillment, often thousands of dollars in supplies
  • Learning tools, classroom resources, and essential items typically purchased out-of-pocket
  • Public recognition for their dedication and service
  • A $500 RNR gift certificate towards a new set of tires

Meet This Year’s Winners

  • Tessa Schirm – Dunnellon, FL
    • She is a first-year teacher at Dunnellon High School and was previously named Teacher of the Year at Dunnellon Middle School. Schirm has worked tirelessly to transform a former math classroom into a “reading wonderland” to inspire imagination and a love of literature. The Florida State University graduate holds a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education and a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction. Additionally, she is a published co-author in the Florida Journal of Educational Research, and active school leader serving on multiple committees.
  • Melissa Boucher – Tampa, FL
    • Boucher is a special education teacher of 26 years, with 18 years at Mort Elementary, a Title 1 school where 95% of students live in poverty. Not only does she commit to teaching, but she runs the PTA, writes grants, and secures program funding for students – most recently an art program. In the summer, she spends the break delivering donations directly to families in need.

“Tessa and Melissa are exactly what this giveaway represents – educators who pour their hearts into their students and community,” said Adam Sutton, CEO of RNR Tire Express. “We’re proud to play a small part in setting them up for a successful school year.”

Going Beyond the Classroom

RNR also extended its giving to Reynolds Lane Elementary in Jacksonville, where five local store managers joined forces to donate school supplies for 10 teachers and 175 students. These efforts aim to support a community where many children face homelessness and limited resources.

In addition, RNR wrapped its back-to-school efforts with its annual backpack giveaway, donating over 10,000 backpacks across 175 stores nationwide.
