A Passion Turned to Legacy

At ages 12 and 14, brothers Jason and Steven Parker started walking dogs in their community to prove to their parents they were responsible enough to care for a dog. Eventually walking up to 50 dogs, they decided to form a dog-sitting business and found quick success. Fueled by their passion for pets, they turned their vision into reality by founding K9 Resorts in 2005.

The Parkers spent the next several years carefully growing the brand, pouring a great attention to detail into every decision – from its services to the construction and design of each location. Hosted by the Parkers, the 20^th anniversary event will feature food, beverages, entertainment, and more. The event will have special guests in attendance, including long-time clients, current franchisees, New Jersey State Senator, Jon Bramnick; IBPSA Chair, Carmen Rustenbeck; and Mayor Colleen Mahr.

What will serve as a historic moment, the brand is proudly presenting its first check funded by the K9 Cares Foundation. With community giveback and involvement being a top priority for K9 Resorts, $11,500 will be donated through its new foundation to locally owned Eleventh Hour Rescue, furthering the organization’s mission to saving the lives of innocent dogs and cats on death row.
