WASHINGTON, Nov. 17–IFA President & CEO Steve Caldeira has been named to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Association Committee of 100. For more than 50 years, leading association executives have gathered under the banner of the U.S. Chamber’s Association Committee of 100 to network, build partnerships and discuss current issues.

“Being selected to serve on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 is truly a recognition of the economic impact the franchising industry has on the U.S. and global economy,” said Caldeira.  “Without question, serving on this committee provides a very unique forum in which to learn, share, align, and strategize on key public policy issues of great importance to the business community. I am honored to serve on the Committee of 100 and look forward to working with U.S. Chamber President & CEO Tom Donohue and other committee members to help advance pro-growth economic policies that stimulate the economy and create jobs for American businesses.”

“This Committee of 100 has a long-standing reputation as one of the most prestigious appointments in the association community,” said Bill Miller, senior vice president of Political Affairs and Federation Relations. “These new members reflect our continued dedication to naming diverse, high-profile leaders to serve on this important committee.”

The CEOs on the Committee will represent association members of the Chamber before the U.S. Chamber’s board of directors, enhance Chamber lobbying and coalition work, recommend programming, and strengthen outreach to the business and association community.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.
