Another good reason to make the trip to Washington, D.C. for the International Franchise Association’s Public Affairs Conference this fall, besides sharing the industry’s story of economic recovery and community contributions, is to honor the 2009 Franchisees of the Year. These individuals act as the first points of contact for the franchising industry and daily represent the strength, breadth and depth of this business-format model.
