The new IFA directors are:

- John Draper, CEO, Viridian Group, LLC
- Tariq Farid, Founder & CEO, Edible Arrangements International
- Ron Feldman, CFE, Principal and Chief Brand Strategist of the Siegel Financial Group (SFG)

- Jeffrey Tews, BrightStar Care & Mr. Handyman multi-unit franchisee,

I am a small multi-unit franchisee of both Money Mailer and IHOP (DineEquity). I have been self-employed for most of my career and have owned and continue to own businesses outside of franchising. I believe in and enjoy the franchising model and feel it important to keep the model strong. I try to do my small part by serving on the Franchise Relations Committee and Franchise Forum while attending as many IFA events during the year as fit in my schedule. Advocacy, especially by franchisees, is very effective at the state and federal level. It is very important franchisees share their message so I find time to educate legislators on our needs and challenges. I started my career in NYC at an investment banking firm but realized in just a few short years self-employment was the direction for me, and small business was my passion.

John Rotche, CFE

After graduating from the University of Michigan in 1990, John Rotche began his career in franchising at the Ann Arbor-based pizza giant, Domino's®. Rotche started at the store level where he began delivering pizzas and quickly advanced into a management role. Rotche directed the operations for hundreds of Domino's Pizza stores in a multi-state region and was then promoted to a corporate area field trainer position. Rotche went on to be recognized as Domino's Pizza's World Wide Trainer of the Year. After Domino's Pizza sold to Bain Capital, Rotche accepted a senior level position with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts® and helped lead the brand’s expansion throughout the Midwest. While at Krispy Kreme, Rotche purchased a small, one-van air duct cleaning business as a passive investment from a family member. Soon after purchasing, Rotche saw the impact this small business could have on improving the indoor air quality for children suffering from asthma, as demonstrated by his own two-year-old son. Rotche decided to resign from corporate America with the plan to take this small company (DUCTZ) national. Within three years, Rotche grew DUCTZ to be the nation's largest air duct cleaning business with 150 offices before selling the business to Belfor Property Restoration. Two years after selling DUCTZ, Rotche's entrepreneurial spirit struck again and he recognized another opportunity within the fragmented space of restaurant kitchen exhaust cleaning, so he created his next company, HOODZ. HOODZ quickly became the nation's largest within its category, growing to over 100 locations in less than two years, prior to Rotche selling it. In April 2012, Rotche accepted the position as both President and Partner of TITLE Boxing Club International. Today, TITLE Boxing Club is currently one of the fastest growing group fitness companies in America with more than 500 clubs under development nationwide and in Mexico. John is currently Chief Executive Officer of TITLE Boxing Club International. Most recently, in 2015 Rotche created his newest company Franworth. In 2011, Rotche was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the International Franchise Association (IFA), joining the ranks of Fred DeLuca (Subway®), J. Willard Marriott (Marriott® hotels), Tom Monaghan (Domino's Pizza®), and Frank Carney (Pizza Hut®) to name a few. Additionally in 2011 Rotche was honored with the Entrepreneurship award from his Alma Mater the University of Michigan. Rotche was also the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Business Leader Award from Northwood University, and recognized with 2015 The Career Achievement Award from the University of Michigan. David G. McKinnon
David McKinnon is Senior Advisor at The Dwyer Group. He is the former CEO and Co-Founder of Service Brands International, which was acquired by The Dwyer Group in June 2015. David began his franchising career in 1982 when he and a partner purchased a ServiceMaster franchise in Toronto, Canada. In 1984, David acquired the rights to Molly Maid, then a start-up residential cleaning franchise in Canada. He relocated and established the corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, Mich. Today, Molly Maid has grown to more than 800 franchises in the U.S., Canada, Japan, United Kingdom and Portugal. In the late 1990s, David recognized that other segments of the home service business were highly fragmented, and homeowners were both time starved and unwilling or unable to maintain their homes without outside help. After exploring additional home services, Service Brands International (SBI) was created in 2001 as an umbrella organization. SBI grew to include Molly Maid; 1-800-DryClean, a pick-up and delivery dry clean business; Mr. Handyman International, America's No. 1 professional handyman service business and ProTect Painters, an expert residential and commercial painting business. Alumni SBI brands include Ductz International and CRDN (Certified Restoration Dry Cleaning Network), which were divested. In 2007, McKinnon and his partners acquired a major stake in PuroClean, a Florida-based franchisor of restoration services with over 200 franchisees, serving both the insurance industry and home owners. David has been personally recognized for many outstanding achievements, including: The Blue Chip Enterprise Award in 1995, Crain's Detroit Business "Top 40 Under 40" entrepreneurs in the state of Michigan in 1995, Co-Founder of The Ms. Molly Foundation, the IFA Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001 and in 2013 he was inducted into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame.
