Tom Curtis is President of Burger King North America, responsible for overseeing all brand functions to deliver on a consistent and exceptional Guest experience while driving growth and profitability. From operations, technology and marketing to development and franchising, Tom and his leadership team are focused on Guest-centric initiatives that make Burger King one of the most loved restaurant brands in the world.
Tom joined Restaurant Brands International (RBI) in May 2021 as Chief Operations Officer and became President in August 2021. Alongside his team, Tom is currently focused on executing the “Reclaim the Flame” plan, centered on accelerating sales growth and driving Franchisee profitability and operational excellence for Burger King through a multipronged investment in renewed marketing and restaurant improvements.
Prior to joining RBI, Tom spent 35 years at Domino’s in a variety of leadership roles across operations, field and development. He started with the brand in 1984 delivering pizzas at his university campus and went on to spend 19 years as a franchisee, growing his business to seven restaurants. From there, Tom joined the corporate team where he offered a franchisee perspective to multiple aspects of the business in roles like Director of Strategic Market Growth, VP of Franchise Relations and most recently the Executive Vice President of U.S. Operations and Support.
With a deep love and understanding of the quick-service restaurant business, coupled with his unique perspective through various roles held, Tom is humbled to lead the incredible BK leadership team. His focus is on supporting his team as they closely collaborate with Franchisees to keep focus and pace to reclaim the flame at Burger King.
When Tom is not eating a Whopper, thinking about Burger King or in restaurant with Franchisees, he enjoys spending time with Mary Ann, his wife of more than 35 years, and their four children Lauren, Tom, Ellie and Riley.
