Douglas Jones is the founder of DWJ Enterprises, a startup holding company that specializes in business acquisitions and consulting for equity. Douglas is also a mechanical engineer and brings forth a vast engineering, design and construction background which has spanned several industries, including wastewater, healthcare, and transportation.

His professional experience includes design and consulting of complex MEP systems, commissioning, project and programmatic management for capital programs, construction management and master planning. This experience has enabled Douglas to be well versed in all aspects of real estate and infrastructure projects, proactively facilitate project execution, effectively manage stakeholders’ expectations, and ultimately ensure that a high-quality product is delivered.

Douglas is a hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and Tennessee. He is an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, Project Management Institute, and Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure.

Douglas resides in Brooklyn and enjoys traveling, volunteering with NYC DHS, and mentoring young aspiring engineers.
