November 27, 2023

HARTFORD, CT  Hounds Town USA, a unique concept in doggie daycare, boarding and pet spa services, has opened a new location in Hartford.  At Hounds Town they “do it for the dogs!”. Conveniently situated off of the highway in the capital at 92 Weston Street, the location offers dog-centered services for the pups and a kind and trustworthy pet care team for their owners. The location, owned and operated by Bob LeBlanc, opened for business on October 14.

To welcome this new business to the state’s capital, Hounds Town Hartford is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, November 14, at noon. Local officials including Mayor Luke Bronin, and other city dignitaries will be in attendance for this exciting event.

“Pet owners across the Hartford area will greatly benefit from the addition of a dog daycare and boarding facility like Hounds Town,” said LeBlanc. “We don’t breed-discriminate and welcome all dogs to come in for a free evaluation. We group dogs by size, temperament and energy level for safe and fun socialization. We’re thrilled to be the go-to pet care concept and trusted daycare choice for residents in the Greater Hartford area.”

Bob LeBlanc combined three decades of engineering and business development experience with his passion for dogs to open the first Hounds Town in New England. With LeBlanc’s commitment to team development and high-touch customer service, he has built the best dog management team in the business. Since opening on October 14, many owners and their beloved pups have enjoyed the convenience and quality of LeBlanc’s daycare, boarding and pet spa services.

“I am thrilled for Bob and his team to bring the Hounds Town brand to the Hartford market. With Bob’s professional experience, lifelong passion for dogs, and his community involvement, I have no doubt our first Connecticut store will be a wild success!” says Hounds Town CEO Jackie Bondanza.

Hounds Town is truly a unique pet care business, with services that include interactive dog daycare, pet boarding, and stress-free spa services. Supervised by a well-trained staff, dogs are able to play all-day, providing both physical and mental stimulation, guaranteeing a Hounds Town Hangover when pets go home. Further setting itself apart, Hounds Town has a no breed discrimination policy, making it easier for all pet owners to find reliable care. For feline lovers, Hounds Town offers cat condos for overnight boarding as well.

Founded in 2000 by former NYPD canine handler and commanding officer of the Nassau County Police Department, Michael S. Gould,
Hounds Town USA offers a unique and fun approach to doggy daycare and pet boarding. The brand emphasizes a safe and welcoming environment for all dogs, no matter their size, breed, age or ability. The fully interactive daycare facility is designed to meet each dog’s physical, social and psychological needs through a natural pack environment. The all-day play daycare model leaves each canine companion tired and happy, resulting in what has been coined “Hounds Town hangover.” Hounds Town also offers stress-free, affordable spa services, ensuring pet parents have the option to bring home a clean and refreshed pet. Select locations are also proud to offer a Pet Taxi service, ensuring dogs have reliable transportation to and from daycare. Currently, the brand has more than 50 locations open across the country, with more than seven locations projected for the remainder of 2023. For more information on Hounds Town USA, visit: www.houndstownusa.com.
