The International Franchise Association (IFA) has been a global leader in promoting excellence, education, and advocacy in the franchising industry for over 60 years. Role description

The Member Systems Intern will support the maintenance, enhancement, and organization of IFA member data and records. This role will contribute to improving the accuracy of member information, strengthening audience segmentation, and supporting marketing and communications initiatives across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with the review, organization, and maintenance of IFA member contact and company information within internal systems and databases
• Develop and refine customer segmentation strategies to support targeted IFA marketing, communications, and member engagement efforts
• Conduct research and update IFA member Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) information to ensure records remain accurate and current
• Analyze and verify member contact data using the most recent FDD filings and other approved data sources
• Support data integrity initiatives by identifying duplicate, outdated, or incomplete records and recommending updates
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure member data aligns with organizational reporting and outreach needs
• Prepare summaries, reports, and tracking documents related to membership data updates and segmentation projects
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive member and organizational information

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and manage large datasets with accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or CRM/database systems preferred
• Strong research and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Interest in membership operations, marketing analytics, or data management preferred

Key Facts:

This is a part-time hybrid role located in Washington, DC, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion.

Duration: 10 to12 weeks

Pay: $20.00 an hour

Hours Per Week: 32-40
