Meet Spencer Brignac

Spotlight on People
Spencer Brignac

We are so excited to introduce the newest member of the IFA membership team- Spencer Brignac! Spencer is serving as our Manager of Membership Recruitment & Retention, and is here to make sure our members have the best IFA experience possible.

Before you meet Spencer at many of our upcoming events, get to know him in our Q&A!

Q: Where are you from?

A:
Baton Rouge, LA

Q:
Where is the best place you’ve ever traveled?

A:
Southern Montana where I lived for the summer of 2013. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors. There were a lot of close encounters with the wildlife and some beautiful scenery on mountaintops that I haven’t found anywhere else I’ve traveled.

Q:
What are you most excited about for your position at the IFA?

A:
I’m definitely most excited to work with the whole IFA team and the members, especially those on the membership committee and the Supplier Forum. It’s great to be part of an association that encompasses so many different industries.  I think it's great how involved the members are in creating a stronger association.

Q:
What do you like to do in your free time?

A:
I try to keep myself busy and active. I enjoy going to different gym classes, including Pilates, yoga, and HIIT. I also really like living in the heart of such a walkable city like DC. On weekends, I’ll wander around finding hole in the wall restaurants and exploring new sites. And did I mention how much I like hiking?

Q:
Why is it important for franchise professionals to join the IFA?

A:
IFA is really the place to start your career. With conferences focused on a variety of jobs within franchising and a widely recognized certification program, there really is no better place to start for an emerging franchise professional.

More seasoned professionals will find that IFA provides an opportunity to give back and stand up for the industry. These professionals can get more involved by lending their voice to our advocacy initiatives by signing onto grassroots petitions or donating to FranPAC or mentoring emerging professionals through our Franship program.
