Phil Piro is an investor, entrepreneur, and former operator who currently serves as a Partner at Princeton Equity Group (“Princeton”). At Princeton, Phil focuses on investing in founder-owned franchisor and multi-location services companies. He joined Princeton in 2018 as an early team member and has been an integral part of the firm’s growth to where it is today: nearly 35 employees, 16 investments, and over $3.0 billion of assets under management. He has been actively involved in a number of companies, including Strickland Brothers, Princeton Medspa Partners, Five Star Franchising, and Pirtek.

Prior to Princeton, Phil founded a consumer-packaged goods company, served as the COO of a snack company, and began his career in investment banking. He graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University. He lives in New York with his wife and two children.
