My journey to this role began at Winston-Salem State University, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Gerontology. This path was not only a professional choice but a deeply personal one, rooted in my passion for healthcare and my commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

My journey to higher education was not without its challenges. At the age of 18, as a freshman in college and a new mother, I faced skepticism from my counselor who suggested I transfer to community college, doubting my ability to finish my degree. Rather than allowing this to discourage me, I felt an irresistible urge to prove that I could succeed. I made the daily commitment to drive back and forth to campus after dropping my daughter at daycare, balancing motherhood and my studies with relentless determination. After four rigorous years of hard work, I graduated with honors and laid the foundation for my career in the healthcare field.

Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to the medical and healthcare sectors. The opportunity to work with seniors and help optimize their quality of life has been a driving force behind my professional aspirations. Each day at Wisdom Senior Care, I strive to uphold the values of compassion, respect, and integrity, ensuring that we provide the best possible care to those who depend on us.
