Dr. Paul M. Booth Jr. is the President of Concentric Brands a company whose focus is best in class brands in the QSR, limited retail and service industries. Concentric currently owns and operates Ace Hardware as one of its best-in-class brands.

He was previously, a 2nd Generation Owner Operator within the McDonald’s system. Throughout his decade long career with McDonald’s, he has quickly accelerated and excelled while keeping the pulse of a Servant Leader, who leads his team and serves his community. One of Paul’s mantras that guides him daily is: “We are not just a business, but a stakeholder in the community” – This means that our mission is to serve.

Dr. Booth believes Business should exist on purpose for a purpose and that the triple bottom line (People, Profit, Planet) must be achieved in order for a business to be truly successful. He is a recent Cincinnati Business Courier 40 Under 40 recipient. He serves on several boards including: Multi-Unit Franchise Conference, National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, Cincinnati State School of Hospitality Management Advisory Board, and the Holocaust and Humanity Center. He is a recipient of the MVP Spirit of Franchising award given by the Multi-Unit Franchise Conference.

In addition, he is a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Religious Studies. He completed his Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University concentrating in leadership and ethics. He also graduated from the Harvard Summer Leadership Institute. He recently earned a Ph.D. in Values Driven Leadership from the College of Business at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. Dr. Booth recently completed the Herndon Directors Institute, a prestigious program to train and equip diverse candidates for board seats on publicly traded companies.

A man of family and great faith, Above all, Paul’s greatest assignment is his role as a Father to his beautiful daughter, Laila Marie Booth.
