Mathnasium & CAMP Team Up for Pi Day: Blending Education with Interactive Fun

LOS ANGELES, CA — Pi Day, the popular celebration of the mathematical constant, takes place worldwide on March 14. This year, Mathnasium Learning Centers, an internationally known franchise with over 1,100 math locations worldwide, has partnered with CAMP, the Family Experience Company known for its interactive activities and shows, to bring a unique blend of math and fun to Pi Day with a variety of exciting events.

The partnership delivers a one-of-a-kind experience for families across participating CAMP locations, combining learning with hands-on creativity.

National Sweepstakes

To launch their partnership, Mathnasium and CAMP are hosting a national sweepstakes, running from February 12^th through Thursday, March 21^st at 11:59 p.m. (PT).

Pi Day Celebrations at CAMP Locations

CAMP, a one-of-a-kind blend of toy store, party venue, and immersive play space, invites families to celebrate Pi Day with math-themed activities at its nine locations nationwide. Families can book a Pi Day slime bar appointment on camp.com, choosing from three exclusive Pi Day-inspired slime recipes—Sticky Key Lime, Buttery Pumpkin, or Fluffy Banana Cream Pie. Kids can also explore the Mathnasium-branded Pi Day slime by stretching, squishing, and fishing out the digits of Pi. Each slime variety, available for one day only, includes four toppings and a signature scent.

Along with a Pi Day-themed crafting station, kids can create their own beaded Pi Day bracelets representing the digits of Pi and personalize a charm to commemorate the day. CAMP counselors will be wearing Pi Day hats and buttons, and each location will be decked out in colorful Pi Day decorations. Guests can enjoy fun activities like temporary tattoos, confetti poppers, and pizza. To finish off the celebration, everyone will take home a special treat to enjoy later.

Pi Day Celebrations at Mathnasium Learning Centers

In addition to CAMP events, select Mathnasium centers nationwide will host free, public Pi Day parties, inviting the community to join in the fun. The celebrations will feature new Pi Day Slime that highlights the digits of Pi, interactive learning stations, festive food, and exciting prizes. Activities will include exploring and visualizing Pi, memory games, and Pi-themed word searches, offering a playful and educational experience for kids of all ages.

Pizza will also be served at these select locations to keep everyone fueled for the festivities. To make the celebration even sweeter, participating centers will offer a special Pi Day discount of $314 off a 12-month enrollment, providing a great opportunity for families to join the Mathnasium community while enjoying the fun.
