Neighborhood Sandwich Shop Continues Non-Traditional Franchise Expansion with New Location at Nationally Ranked Children’s Hospital

AKRON, Ohio. – Potbelly (NASDAQ: PBPB), the iconic neighborhood sandwich shop, announced today its upcoming opening at Akron Children’s Hospital (One Perkins Square), located in the heart of downtown Akron.

Joining several other locations in the region, the new Potbelly shop is slated to open Monday, December 22, and will be available to hospital patients, guests and staff. Michael Folino, Director of Support Services at Akron Children’s Hospital, will operate the new shop, which will provide the brand’s signature toasty sandwiches, fresh salads, oven-baked cookies and hand-dipped shakes, serving up a warm, welcoming experience.
