Ron Feldman, CFE

Ron Feldman, CFERon is a 25-year veteran in Franchising. He served as the Chief Development Officer of ApplePie Capital, a FinTech Lender dedicated to Franchising.  Feldman directed the growth strategy and ApplePie grew from a startup to an aggregate $2Bn in loan originations from 2016-2022.  He currently serves ApplePie as an advisor.

Prior to joining ApplePie, Ron served as the Chief Development Officer of FRANdata where he was integral in creating and implementing new credit scoring models for Franchise brands and created processes for acquisition due diligence outsourcing, and supplier strategies within the franchise sector. Clients included Private Equity Firms, Lenders, Suppliers, Lenders, and Insurance Companies.

From 2002 – 2014, Ron grew and later acquired Siegel Financial Group, in 2009, he co-founded and was CEO of Franchise America Finance (FAF). The companies were leading resources connecting and supplying debt financing to franchise-based businesses. At his role with FAF, he and his team created a brand-based credit modeling strategy and was able to place 20+ captive lending programs with over $300 Million in committed funds during the great recession.

Ron was also an early franchisee in The Goddard School system.

As an active advocate of the franchise business model, Ron currently sits on the International Franchise Association (IFA) Board of Directors and is a Past Chair of the Supplier Forum Advisory Board. In addition, he serves as the Vice Chair of the IFA Foundation Board and the Executive Committee of the IFA.

Ron is a frequent speaker at all Franchising conferences and has been acknowledged as a subject matter expert.

Ron is connected to all aspects of the Franchise Ecosystem and currently advises a select group of companies who are involved or wish to be involved in the Franchise Marketplace. He also advises and guides emerging brands who have a differentiated offering and compelling unit level economics.
