The new location will be owned and operated by Melanie Lightfoot, who has been successfully running her first Ellianos Coffee location in the Exit 29 area of Brunswick for the past two and a half years. With over 20 years of experience in her family’s auto parts business, Melanie brings a deep understanding of community-rooted business ownership to everything she does — and her track record with her first Ellianos location speaks for itself.

“We are overly excited to get this location off the ground,” said Melanie Lightfoot. “We have had so many customers inquire about us building a second location and we are happy to finally make it happen.”

What drew Melanie to Ellianos in the first place was the brand’s family-operated feel — something she understands deeply from her own background.

“Family. It is family operated just like the business I am used to,” she said. “Ellianos has a great following and I wanted to piggyback off that.”

The Altama Avenue location was a natural choice for Melanie, who saw an opportunity to bring Ellianos closer to the center of town after the overwhelming success of her first location.

“Our first location in the Exit 29 area was such a hit we wanted to get one closer in town,” Melanie added.
