Former Sysco Executive Brings Boutique Reformer Pilates to North Austin

Austin, TX – JETSET Pilates, the fast-growing modern Reformer Pilates franchise offering premium, full-body workouts, is expanding in Austin with a new studio opening in the Arboretum area. Located at 10000 Research Blvd, Suite 124, the studio is locally owned and operated by Becky Chidester. Preview classes began on September 11^th, with a full grand opening celebration planned for October 3^rd at 11am – 1 pm, complete with light bites and drinks, a build-your-own bouquet bar, a matcha cart from Pink Crescent, Founding Membership discounted rates and tote bags for Founding Members to claim, which will include JETSET swag, partnership perks and discounts.

Chidester brings two decades of corporate leadership experience to her first business venture. A Houston native who relocated to Austin three years ago and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, Chidester spent 20 years working in leadership roles across consulting, analytics and strategy. Her interest in franchising grew after discovering Pilates last year, which quickly became her favorite way to stay active. She saw an opportunity to bring a more modern Pilates experience to a rapidly growing market in Austin. After evaluating several concepts, Chidester chose JETSET Pilates for its reputation and strong franchisee support and now plans to open three studios across the Austin area.

“After spending 20 years building client and customer relationships in the corporate world, I wanted my next chapter to be just as personal,” said Chidester. “Pilates became the one workout I couldn’t stop thinking about, and I saw an opportunity to bring that same experience to Austin. I’m excited to create a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can strengthen their bodies, challenge themselves and become part of a community.”

The 2,600-square-foot studio will feature 16 custom reformers, offering 50-minute, high-end classes combining strength, cardio, and Pilates-inspired movements set to DJ-curated music. Each class is designed to strengthen, lengthen, and energize both body and mind, reflecting the studio’s mission to blend premium fitness with a community-driven experience for all levels, appealing to a wide range of individuals from young professionals to busy parents looking for an efficient, full-body workout. The Austin location has already begun building meaningful community relationships by hosting collaborative, wellness-focused events, and is seeing strong initial reception.
