Caring Senior Service CEO and two agency directors among those chosen

SAN ANTONIO – July 30, 2026 – Caring Senior Service, a non-medical, personalized home care services company, announces that CEO Jeff Salter and agency directors Lauren Malik and Katy Packingham have been named winners in the inaugural Home-Based Care Momentum Awards by AlayaCare.

The Home-Based Care Momentum Awards honor North American industry changemakers, including caregivers, leaders, executives and innovators. Individuals working in eligible organizations such as home care, home health and in-home hospice services were eligible for nomination. Winners were determined by a combination of public voting and an expert panel evaluation.

Salter received the Impact and Innovation award for groundbreaking design and utilization of technology within the home care continuum. His nomination underscored his pioneering leadership in advancing technology-driven home care by implementing carefully selected digital tools to improve communication, safety, coordination and outcomes for seniors and their families. Through proprietary platforms like Tendio and the strategic integration of artificial intelligence, Salter has helped create a more connected, efficient and scalable care model that empowers caregivers while maintaining personalized, exceptional service.

Malik, agency director of Caring Senior Service in Irvine, California, received the Operational Excellence award for her efforts in helping to build one of the company’s top-performing locations. She grew the business to $1.2 million in its first year, putting it on pace to exceed $3 million in year three. Malik was recognized for leading more than 150 caregivers, serving more than 200 active clients and creating scalable systems that support growth without sacrificing quality of care.

Packingham, agency director of Caring Senior Service in Galesburg, Illinois, also received the Operational Excellence award for doubling her location’s weekly care hours from around 450 to more than 1,000 within her first year in a management role. Packingham was recognized for her caregiver-first leadership, strong referral partnerships and ability to build trust with families, caregivers and local senior care organizations.
