Iconic Neighborhood Sandwich Shop Arrives to Base with Opening Celebration

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Potbelly, the iconic neighborhood sandwich shop, announced today the opening of its newest shop at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story (JEB LC FS) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Located in the base’s food court, the new shop features the brand’s signature oven-toasted sandwiches and wraps, hand-dipped shakes, freshly baked cookies and more for the military community.

Opening on June 30, with a grand opening celebration taking place from 10 a.m. to noon, the event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and Potbelly Perks Plinko, where guests can celebrate and participate for the chance to win prizes.

Operating hours for the new shop are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shop joins the recently opened Potbelly Fairfield, marking the brand’s second location in the Virginia Beach area.
