GEORGETOWN, Texas – June 25, 2026— Grasons, a leading estate sale and business liquidation company and member of Evive Brands, announced today the opening of its newest location, Grasons of Georgetown. The new franchise will serve Georgetown, North Austin, Sun City, Williamson County and surrounding Central Texas communities, providing professional estate sale, downsizing and business liquidation services to families and businesses navigating major life transitions.

The new location is owned by Kristen Carlson, an experienced entrepreneur and business leader with nearly two decades of experience serving families throughout Texas. Day-to-day operations will be led by Sydney Greenwalt, owner of a successful Right at Home franchise and a senior care professional with more than 10 years of experience helping older adults and their families navigate caregiving, downsizing and major life transitions. Her extensive work with seniors inspired the expansion into estate sales and transition services through Grasons.

Together, Carlson and Greenwalt recognized a growing need for trusted guidance beyond traditional senior care services, particularly for families navigating downsizing, estate transitions and major life changes.

Carlson has owned and operated a successful Right at Home franchise for the past 19 years, helping families navigate the challenges of aging and caregiving. Prior to her entrepreneurial career, she served as an administrator at the University of Texas Medical Branch and the Center of Reproductive Medicine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Greenwalt brings a complementary background in senior services and design. Through her experience working with seniors and families during significant life transitions, she recognized the need for additional support services that extend beyond caregiving. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design, bringing expertise in space planning, organization and presentation that enhances Grasons’ estate sale and downsizing services.

“What I’ve learned through working with seniors and families is that every object in a home has a story attached to it,” said Greenwalt. “Families are often making difficult decisions during emotional moments. We wanted to create a business that approaches those situations with professionalism, empathy and respect.”

Grasons of Georgetown will offer a full suite of services, including estate sales, business liquidations, downsizing assistance and relocation sales. Each engagement follows a structured process that includes consultation, inventory planning and organization, staging, onsite sale management and post-sale follow-up. The model is designed to maximize value for clients while providing a seamless and organized experience.

Greenwalt said Grasons’ reputation for professionalism and compassionate service was a major factor in joining the brand.

“Grasons has a high standard of quality and expectations for its franchisees, and its mission aligns with our belief that everyone deserves the highest-quality service delivered in a compassionate and dignified way,” said Greenwalt.

The company plans to build partnerships with senior living communities, real estate professionals, attorneys, care managers and local families throughout Williamson County and the greater North Austin area, creating a network of resources designed to help individuals navigate major life transitions with confidence.

“Sydney and Kristen bring a powerful combination of entrepreneurial leadership, senior care experience and compassion to the Grasons network,” said Rick Yohn, Interim Brand President of Grasons. “Their shared commitment to serving families with professionalism and dignity will make them a tremendous resource for the Georgetown and North Austin communities.”

As Central Texas continues to experience significant population growth, including a rapidly expanding senior population, demand for professional downsizing, estate sale and transition services continues to increase. Grasons helps families navigate these changes with integrity, empathy and efficiency while maximizing the value of personal and business assets.
