Joshua Grinstead, Owner of GYMGUYZ – Hudson/Bergen/Rockland, Awarded 2023 Franchisee of the Year by International Franchise Association

LAS VEGAS, March 1, 2023 – The International Franchise Association (IFA) today named Joshua Grinstead, owner of GYMGUYZ of Hudson/Bergen/Rockland as a 2023 Franchisee of the Year. Grinstead was honored at the 63rd IFA Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, for being an outstanding franchise establishment owner-operator.

The Franchisee of the Year Award, sponsored by IFA’s partner Paychex, recognizes leading franchise owners from IFA member brands whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance, and promote the franchise business model. Nominated by their parent company, individuals are selected for their service to their communities, fostering a strong and vibrant workforce, opening the doors for career growth and entrepreneurship, and supporting their fellow franchisees.

Grinstead launched his GYMGUYZ franchise in 2015 with three territories, and has expanded to eight locations covering Hudson, Bergen, and Rockland Counties in NJ and upstate NY. Having completed 85,000 personal training sessions, group sessions and classes to date – GYMGUYZ employes over 30 full and part-time fitness professionals in the area. They focus on the entire spectrum of fitness approaches from medical to performance and aesthetic training. “We cover a lot of grown, literally and figuratively, says Grinstead.
