ORLANDO, Feb. 13, 2012—One hundred thirty-four franchise executives today achieved Certified Franchise Executive designation during the International Franchise Association’s 52
ndAnnual Convention.
“I received my CFE designation in March 2005 and excitement for the ICFE program was at a new high,” said ICFE Board of Governors Chairman Mark Liston, CFE, who is president of Glass Doctor.
“The ICFE just conducted its annual survey of our CFE graduates in July and found that nearly 98 percent say the CFE program has provided them with expanded knowledge, management and leadership skills.
I know that it has personally given me tremendous networking skills.
Most importantly, over 95 percent of the graduates say they will renew their CFE when it is time to do so.
Everyone in the world of franchising should utilize this dynamic program to increase their professionalism.”
Nearly 1,400 franchise executives are currently enrolled or have received certification. More than 300 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program that provides benefits such as specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking and professional standing.
The Institute of Certified Franchise Executives is the academic affiliate of the IFA Educational Foundation. Designees who meet all requirements and complete the program, which involves a prescribed course of study specific to franchising, earn the title.
