WASHINGTON, Sept. 27, 2011-The International Franchise Association today announced The Entrepreneur’s Source (TES), a leading career and franchise business coaching company, has been named the educational sponsor of IFA’s Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE), the organization’s certification program for franchise industry executives.

 

“The professional development and education of franchise business leaders through the ICFE program is a top strategic priority for the IFA,” said IFA President & CEO Steve Caldeira, CFE. “We truly appreciate the partnership and support of The Entrepreneur’s Source in delivering industry-leading educational opportunities for the franchise community.”

 

TES sponsorship will help underwrite the cost of administering the ICFE program for three years for participating executives seeking to expand their knowledge of franchising. As the Educational Sponsor, TES will be recognized at future CFE educational programs, and in information about the CFE program.

The CFE is a career program designed to enhance the professionalism of franchising by certifying the highest standards of quality training and education. Meeting the requirements of the program and completing the course of study, franchise professionals receive the CFE designation, which is presented each year at IFA’s Annual Convention. Since the program began, nearly 700 franchise executives have earned their CFE designation, and more than 1,400 franchise executives are currently enrolled in the CFE program. In Feb. 2011, 140 executives received their CFE designation, a program record.
