The CFE scholarship program was created to encourage and support outstanding candidates who are enrolled in the CFE professional development program. The award provides a financial stipend of $2,500 to be applied toward tuition programs offered for Institute of Certified Franchise Executive credit. The program was established in 2000 by a grant from the late Irl Marshall, CFE, a former chairman and CEO of Duraclean International. Marshall was a member of the board of trustees of the IFA Educational Foundation and later an honorary member until he passed away in 2007.
