Our data for 2017 showed that there are 733,000 franchise establishments that support nearly 7.6 million jobs, $674.3 billion of economic output for the U.S. economy, and 2.5 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

In Alabama alone, there are a whopping 12,000 franchises that support nearly 125,000 jobs, $9.7 billion of Alabama’s economic output, and $5.4 billion of their Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
