Chris Dull understands what it takes to build successful restaurants and brands teamwork on every level. Having started his career fresh out of Baylor University scooping ice cream at Marble Slab Creamery® more than twenty years ago, Chris quickly rose through the management ranks and is now the President and CEO of Global Franchise Group®, the franchisor of Great American Cookies®, Pretzelmaker®, Hot Dog on a Stick®, Round Table Pizza® and his first post-college job, Marble Slab Creamery/MaggieMoo’s®. Because of Chris’ acute perspective and experience in the QSR space, his vision for Global Franchise Group has led the organization to where it is today a company with close to $1 billion in system wide sales and more than 1,500 stores worldwide.After serving as Executive Vice President of Marble Slab Creamery where he directed an extensive franchise development program, managed real estate and construction for the opening of more than 300 domestic units and created and implemented a master franchising program resulting in the brand's expansion internationally, Chris went on to become the President of NexCen Franchise Management (the former parent company of Marble Slab Creamery and six other franchise concepts spanning multiple industries). In 2010, NexCen was acquired by Global Franchise Group and Chris set his sights on maximizing the potential of the company’s most promising concepts in the QSR space.Today, Global Franchise Group has a portfolio of six craveable brands. Chris is credited with addinga corporate store vertical to the GFG business with the 2014 acquisition of Hot Dog on a Stick® (which he led out of bankruptcy) and the 2017 acquisition of Round Table Pizza®. Chris understands all aspects of both franchise and corporate owned restaurantmanagement and what is needed to increase Same Store Sales, AUVS, and EBITDA and is well respected in the industry. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor University, is a Board Member of the International Franchise Association (IFA) and a former Executive Team Member for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Atlanta Chapter. He also has the distinction of Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) and is a two time Iron Man.
