Hours: 9am – 4pm  / Monday – Friday
Compensation: Monthly Stipend

The IFA Education department is seeking a qualified Education Coordinator Intern to join our team and assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our educational programs.  

Position Overview: The Education Coordinator Intern will report directly to our Senior Manager of Certification programs and work closely with department leadership to support the online and in-person delivery of franchise business and leadership education programs and resources. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about adult education, business operations, and/or franchising and have strong organizational skills, and are eager to gain hands-on experience in large-scale, business education program coordination and management. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Program Support: Assist in the organization and execution of adult education programs and events.
  • Participant Engagement: Communicate with program participants and volunteers to provide information and support.
  • Data Entry: Review, confirm, and update education participant information in proprietary online customer relationship program (similar to Salesforce).
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on current trends, best practices, and innovations in franchise education and adult learning.
  • Project Assistance: Support the VP Education in various projects, including research, data collection, and task completion documentation/ timeline management.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, maintaining records, and assisting with event education supply shipping and receiving.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Distribute, collect and report feedback from participants to assess program effectiveness and suggested improvements.
  • Proofing and Education Material Enhancements: Proofread communications, newsletters, and educational materials such as PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, and handouts, making adjustments and corrections where necessary.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.


  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing excellent work
  • Experience with virtual learning platforms and tools is a plus


  • Gain hands-on experience in adult educational program coordination

  • Network with franchise professionals and gain insight into the franchise education ecosystem
