TruBlue Total House Care provides a helping hand around the house– inside and out. TruBlue’s services include: to-do list chores; handyman services; house cleaning; maintenance; yard work; emergency repairs; seasonal work, and preventative maintenance, all handled by a personal House Care Manager. TruBlue strives to provide affordable, worry-free living for seniors and hassle-free living for busy adults by providing full-service, trustworthy house care services. Our services allow seniors to safely and comfortable age in place and provide peace of mind for their families. TruBlue franchise owners are required to complete the Senior Home Safety Certification program through Age Safe® America. As specialists, TruBlue franchisees will be able to perform Senior Home Safety Assessments and can make those recommended safety modifications if needed.

Business Model

TruBlue Total House Care is perfectly positioned for the next golden opportunity in the rapidly expanding Senior Care Market. More than 10,000 people will turn 65 years of age EVERY DAY for the next 20 years, and nearly 90% of them want to “age in place”. This creates a huge, continuing demand for Total House Care to take care of home maintenance, repairs, maid service, yard work, and more. While Seniors and Busy Families have the financial resources, they typically don’t have the time, skill, physical ability, or desire to perform routine maintenance tasks on their homes. These house care services can be packaged into a monthly or quarterly subscription, which we call House Care Plus. Dependable, timely care and maintenance for the home and recurring revenue for the franchise owner.

Training & Support

TruBlue provides comprehensive training and ongoing support for franchise owners. It is led by our experienced senior care executive team to make TruBlue the best home care franchise. TruBlue is passionate about and fully committed to the success of our franchise owners. The types of training provided are: 

  • 4 weeks (3 virtual, 1 in person) of onboarding workshops for new franchisees
  • Extensive in-person training and business plan development    
  • On-the-Job Training focusing on business planning, managing operations and marketing
  • Ongoing Coaching with webinars and conference calls to help address concerns 
  • Senior Home Safety Assessment Certification

Role of Franchise Owner and Ideal Candidate

A TruBlue Total House Care owner will spend their typical day overseeing the business.  This includes networking, providing estimates for work, closing sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing their technical staff. Our owners typically do not perform the contracted services themselves. 

You do NOT need direct experience in the senior care or home services industries! We are NOT looking for handymen or technicians. Instead, we are looking for people who have a burning desire to become a business owner and builder of teams, not a technical doer. People who want to seize freedom, flexibility, financial success, serving others, making a real difference, and being in charge of their own path and destiny. Bring the right heart, passion, and drive, and we will train and coach you every step of the way. We recommend that you simply have solid business or management experience with abilities in either project management/operations or sales/marketing…and eventually hire someone with talents complementary to yours. You will hire your technical staff...maids, handymen, generalists, supervisors in time, etc. There are plenty of good technicians out there looking for a professional brand, effective operating and marketing systems to keep them busy year-round, and a good leader with a good heart…YOU. You should be confident in your ability to manage people, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong commitment to customer service excellence, and a drive to follow our proven systems as you bring the TruBlue business model to your community. Liquid capital requirement is $50k and Initial Franchise Fee is $44,900.
