Franchise Operations 

The role of Franchise Operations is to directly manage and implement programs and practices related to the business administration, sales support and financial coaching of franchisees.

Areas of mentorship under Franchise Operations may be:

  1. Coaching on business financial plans and projections
  2. Coordinating with outside vendors
  3. How to develop benchmarking metrics to monitor the financial strength of franchisees and the franchise systems
  4. How can I enhance relevant business administration components of training programs
  5. How can I develop continuing education programs related to franchise business administration
  6. How to best provide implantation and  support for initial business launch programs



Nancy A. Bigley, CEO & Co-Owner Bottle & Bottega  

Nancy Bigley is a franchise executive with eighteen years of experience successfully leading franchise operations for three great brands. Nancy’s focus is in the areas of operations system design and execution, franchisee relations management and the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive growth. 

Nancy is currently CEO & Co-Owner of Bottle & Bottega a concept that creates customized wine and art parties for public, private and corporate events.

Prior to Bottle & Bottega, Nancy served as Senior Director of Operations for Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. where she was responsible for overseeing franchise operations for 920 Baskin-Robbins’ locations in 15 states. While in her role, Nancy received the company’s top leadership award, “Dunkin’ Brands Council Award Leader of the Year” for her work.

Nancy has been involved in franchising since 1991 working in franchise operations for brands such as The Dwyer Group and American Leak Detection, Inc. While at American Leak Detection, Inc. Nancy served as the company’s Vice President overseeing all company and franchise operations, helping grow the brand from 50 locations to 175 in 7 countries.  

Nancy has been involved in the IFA since 1998 and currently serves on the Membership Committee and as an IFA Ambassador. Previously, Nancy served on the Technology Committee, 50th Anniversary Task Force, Convention Committee, Women’s Franchise Committee and was Vice Chair of the Membership Committee. Nancy holds a BS in Business Management from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from California State University San Bernardino.   


Susan E. Black-Beth, CFE, Chief Operating Officer Super Wash, Inc. 

Susan E. Black-Beth, CFE, is the Chief Operating Officer for Super Wash, Inc., franchisor of Super Wash® car washes.  She was previously a Senior Vice President and the Director of Franchising.  As COO, Susan is responsible for managing the relationships with franchisees of 155 locations, the operations of 160 company-managed facilities, franchise development and transfers, marketing, branding and social media.  Susan is a graduate of Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois.  Susan is also a professional speaker on franchising and family business, among other topics. 

 Jon Rotche 

John Rotche, President President of Title Boxing Club 

Rotche began his franchising career at the World Headquarters of Domino’s Pizza whereas he served in a variety of leadership positions. After many successful years at Domino’s  Rotche accepted an opportunity to serve in an executive role with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts whereas he oversaw Midwest operations and was instrumental in the successful expansion of the Krispy Kreme brand. 

Four years after beginning at Krispy Kreme, Rotche’s independent spirit and entrepreneurial vision led him to start DUCTZ, a single van air duct cleaning business from his daughter’s bedroom in 2003 and within 5 years of franchising this business DUCTZ grew to become the nation’s largest air duct cleaning and indoor air quality company with over 175 locations. 

Rotche’s entrepreneurial itch struck again and he launched a second franchise concept HOODZ, which cleans commercial kitchen exhaust systems.  Rotche began franchising HOODZ in July of 2009 and grew HOODZ to be the largest in its category with over 150 locations in less than two years. 

In May of 2012, Rotche accepted the position as President of Title Boxing Club, International. With the company based in Overland Park, KS, Rotche operates out of their Ann Arbor, MI based office. 

In 2008, Rotche was awarded the distinction of Crain’s Detroit Business’ “Forty-Under-Forty” award and the IFA’s 2011 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
