Annual Convention Once a year the members gather to share ideas, concerns and learn about new solutions – which the Suppliers offer. The convention offers recognition and exposure through:
• Exhibit booths
• Speaking Opportunities
Suppliers who exhibit during the annual convention gain valuable exposure to potential new Franchisor clients. This “one-stop shopping” opportunity allows Franchisors to discover the cutting edge products and services available to them and make a connection with you. As a member, your attendance and exhibits are automatically lowered.
By leading sessions at the annual convention, teaching courses in the CFE program, and organizing programs such as Wednesday Wise Webinars, Suppliers demonstrate their expertise and help educate Franchisors in:
Franchise sales and development, Finance, Real estate, Operations, Technology solutions, Marketing, and Legal matters.
There are over 36 local Franchise Business Networks that meet quarterly around the country. These gatherings give Franchisors and Suppliers a venue to meet and share ideas and prospects.
Supplier Education Become educated about the Franchise industry so you can stand out as a valuable resource to your Franchisor clients. IFA members are offered a constant stream of information and education to increase your value to this vital and growing sector. These include:
The Annual Convention

Leadership Opportunities Supplier members are part of the Supplier Forum of the IFA. The Supplier Forum Advisory Board is made up of 21 Supplier members who provide support and leadership for the forum members. The Supplier Forum Advisory Board identifies qualified Suppliers to be added to the board and serve to craft the direction and effectiveness of the forum, as a whole.
Suppliers have numerous leadership opportunities within the IFA. Franchisors and Suppliers work together on several working committees ranging from technology, marketing, membership, convention planning, and research. All of these committees are continuously searching for new leaders to set the direction for franchising.
Government Affairs We need a strong franchising sector from which to operate and the IFA is a leader in the field of government affairs. Have access to the government officials who make the policy that determines your chances for success. IFA makes sure your voice and your vote count – every time!
