Training

ComForcare's comprehensive and intense training program helps new owners set themselves up for success. The training program includes 40 hours of independent study, 80 hours (two weeks) of classroom and in-the-field training and then up to 40 hours of additional training onsite at the owner’s ComForcare office. The training covers all of the following key areas of focus and more: business management, marketing, recruitment, care processes and financial management.

Qualifications

Candidates with successful marketing, management and general business backgrounds show the greatest results. This is a relationship business requiring a solution-oriented presentation of the services offered. Candidates should be positive, proactive people who wish to contribute significantly to their communities. No health care experience is necessary, but could be helpful in building relationships. ComForcare business owners must manage a small staff while managing a multi-task environment.
