Anne Poodiack, Vice President, Conferences & Meetings
Anne Poodiack is Vice President, Conferences & Meetings for the International Franchise Association. She oversees the planning and execution for all the association’s meetings including the Annual Convention, Legal Symposium and Public Affairs Conference. Her primary focus is development of programming, speaker coordination and meeting logistics. She staffs the IFA Women’s Franchise Committee and IFA Legal Symposium Planning Task Force.
Prior to joining IFA in November 2010, Anne was Catering Coordinator with the Hay-Adams Hotel, a boutique property located in downtown Washington, DC where she worked with clients to provide first-class events ranging from business meetings and workshops to social gatherings. Prior to joining the Hay-Adams, Anne served in a variety of capacities at the American Crop Protection Association including managing the association’s political action committee and assisting the Senior Vice President of Government Relations with the association’s strategic efforts to educate lawmakers and regulators regarding the importance of utilizing pesticides to protect the global food supply. Anne started her career in Washington, DC with the Paperboard Packaging Council where she worked directly with the President and Vice President of Membership & Meetings.
Anne received a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science and History from Bucknell University. Anne and her husband reside in Burke, Virginia.
