Franchising in Frontier Markets (click here)

Dalberg Global Development, with support from the John Templeton Foundation and the International Finance Corporation, have released a large-scale research report on the role of franchising as a development tool in emerging markets.   The report, Franchising in Frontier Markets, examines the strengths and weaknesses of franchising and micro-franchising, and the ability to develop scalable and sustainable businesses.  The report also includes a number of case studies and examples of what has worked and not worked in these markets.
