TRAINING
Caribou Coffee’s training consists of 30 hours of MIT training for your Store Manager in a Certified Training Store, 1 week of on-site training for hourly employees, and 1 week of on-site support after opening. Separate training for franchise owners is held at our Support Center (HQ) in Minneapolis for 5 days, prior to your first location opening. This training includes time in a Certified Training Store learning how to identify coffee excellence, as well as time in our Support Center with key members or our support team, arranging final details of your opening.

QUALIFICATIONS
Prospective franchisees must: have multi-unit restaurant development experience in the area they wish to franchise; have expertise in local retail real estate development; live and work in the area they wish to franchise, and be entrenched in the local business community. Prospects must be willing to commit to a multi-unit development schedule, building a minimum of 10 stores. Specific unit commitment will depend upon the designated market area to be developed.
